Story

There has been a restaurant/pub/cafe at Kyle Railway Station for many years. In years gone by the fishermen used to come off their boats at the harbour and come into the pub before heading home. There are still features of this time remaining in the restaurant today.

Waterside Restaurant has been a local seafood restaurant for over 30 years, and was always a dream of Davids to run one day. David is a local boy, both his granny and aunt worked at the railway cafe before it was Waterside. David trained locally as a chef and has worked throughout Britain and New Zealand.

At Waterside we have a passion for creating both innovative and traditional Scottish seafood. As you sit in the restaurant you have views over to Skye Bridge and Loch Alsh. We pride ourselves on a friendly and relaxed dining experience in a space that is designed to reflect the heritage of the building and the surrounding area.

We are only a small place and we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
